Mabul Water Bungalow was completed in 2005 and is a new floating dive resort wholly owned by Sipadan-Mabul Resort. It is situated at Mabul Island overlooking the world-known Sipadan Island which is 15-minutes away by speedboat.
These wooden-type bungalows are entirely built over water with stilts offering sheer comfort. Each bungalow is exquisitely furnished with contemporary décor. All 24 bungalows are equipped with remote control air-conditioner, ceiling fan, private bathroom with hot/cold shower, spacious private balcony offering panoramic vistas of the sea, television with satellite channels, mini bar and in-room safety box.
Facilities include a large and airy restaurant for dining, a souvenir shop, a lounge for guests to relax, a business centre with internet service, a dive centre, an administration office, an underwater video centre and health spa. Guests can enjoy free WI-FI internet access from the room.
Respectively in 2017 & 2018, Mabul Water Bungalow was accorded as Excellence in Hotel Services by Sabah Tourism Board and Best Floating Resort by Malaysia Tourism Gold Award.
