This COVID 19 event is unprecedented and is constantly evolving. Please be reassured that your safety and peace of mind is our number one priority. We endeavour to address all travellers affected in order of travel date. Right now, our number one priority is getting divers home who are currently overseas. The below policies will be reviewed on a regular basis, as travel updates are constantly changing. Please note that the below options are NOT standard practice for Dive Adventures, and we reserve the right to adjust as needed.
If your trip has been affected by the recent events, we would like to confirm that effective
18 March 2020, we endeavour to offer the following:
FOR ALL BOOKINGS DEPOSITED AND PARTIALLY PAID
OPTION 1
Amendment of Travel Date
All deposits and payment instalments are non-refundable. However, based on the current travel regulations and restrictions, we have amended this policy as follows:
Effective as of the 18th March 2020, the Australian government has placed an indefinite travel ban for all overseas travel, all international travel will cease immediately.

Unfortunately, as you will now be unable to travel at this time, we are trying to negotiate with all the relevant operators and airlines, to allow us to transfer your deposit/payment to travel at later date without any penalties or cancellation fees.
Note: If we are successful, your deposit will be held in the form of a credit for a period of up to 12 months.
This option is subject to airline and operator approval and is on a case-by-case basis.
OPTION 2
Cancellation of Booking
Unfortunately, as you will now be unable to travel at this time, we are trying to negotiate with all the relevant operators and airlines, to allow us to transfer your deposit/payment to travel at later date without any penalties or cancellation fees.
Note: If we are successful, your deposit will be held in the form of a credit for a period of up to 12 months.

OPTION 2
Cancellation of Booking
Should you choose to no longer travel nor postpone your travel arrangements within the next 12 months, operators are implementing 100% cancellation fees.
Bookings cancelled at any time after confirmation is subject to the forfeit of payment.
If you are in this situation, please let us know and we will do our best to negotiate with the relevant operators and airlines, to see if a refund of any type can be secured.
Please keep in mind, the airlines, hotel and dive suppliers are working with us to ensure the best possible outcome in these challenging times.
Please Note: Refunds cannot be guaranteed from the Airlines or operators.
Travel Insurance
With regards to Travel Insurance claims, to the best of our knowledge, as the Coronavirus is classified as a Pandemic, unfortunately, travel insurance providers are not providing coverage for cancellations due to the virus.
Dive Adventures – Cancellation Terms and Conditions
Should you wish to cancel your booking, all cancellations need to be advised in writing to
Dive Adventures and the following conditions will / may apply:
(a) Bookings cancelled at any time after confirmation are subject to the forfeit of deposit,
including any additional deposits required by suppliers.
(b) In addition to this fee are any charges made by the hotel, tour operator, or other principal. This can amount to up to 100% of total land arrangement costs, particularly when cancelling tours and other arrangements after the final payment due date.
(c) Airfares – A cancellation charge, up to 100%, may be applied depending on the conditions of the airfare.
If we are successful in securing a refund, any refunds due will be available to you after we receive the monies from the airline and operator involved.
