Koror is the biggest urban dwelling in Palau and is a great place to base yourself when visiting this beautiful country. It is the country’s economic and commercial hub and is within close proximity to some of Palau’s most spectacular and interesting sights. Take a trip to the famous Jellyfish Lake, learn about local heritage and culture at a local museum or bai, visit an ancient monolith, or visit one of the WWII relics left behind.
Koror has a laid back south pacific feel, with a variety of accommodation options, quaint cafes and restaurants and chilled out diver focussed bars.
All 157 modern guest rooms at Palau Royal Resort have been designed with comfort and luxury in mind. Upper floor rooms have balconies overlooking the sea with a view either of the quiet harbour or the sparkling ocean.
