Located on the southern border of North America and the northern borders of Belize and Guatemala, Mexico is a melting pot of culture, history, food and an incredibly varied landscape.
From deserts dotted with cacti to soaring volcanoes topped with fluffy white snow, flourishing jungles and thousands of sandy kilometres of beach bordered by palm trees, Mexico is a feast for the senses.
Mexico, you’ve got to live it to believe it.
Temperatures in Mexico hover between 22°C and 27°C year-round, however, the summer months of June to September are the hottest, most humid and have the highest amount of rainfall.
We recommend taking light, casual clothing. However, please be aware that the country’s culture and religion call for a more conservative dress code. Please consider this if you are planning on participating in above-water activities.
Huddled between the Pacific Ocean, Sea of Cortez, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, you won’t be short of thrilling dive sites to visit.
Navigate the kelp forests of the Pacific Ocean, explore the wrecks in the Caribbean Sea and marvel at the thriving reefs in the Sea of Cortez. Explore the world-famous crystal clear cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula and whittle away the hours discovering all the secrets of the Belize Barrier Reef – the second largest barrier reef in the world – that stretches from the Yucatan Peninsula down to the coast of Belize.
Mexico is pelagic central due to the rich currents that flow through from the Pacific Ocean. Frolic with sea lions, dance with manta rays, marvel at the schooling barracuda and be left star-struck by the whales and sharks that frequent these waters.
